Elle fait partie int\u00e9grante de la conception de la continuit\u00e9 de service. Une bonne conception commence par d\u00e9finir ce que signifie \u00ab rester en ligne \u00bb pour l&#039;abonn\u00e9. Dans certains projets, une alimentation de secours au niveau du seul ONT suffit. Dans d&#039;autres, m\u00eame avec cette seule alimentation, des plaintes surviennent car les utilisateurs perdent la connexion Wi-Fi lorsque le routeur s&#039;\u00e9teint.
