Un gateway potrebbe inattivo a uno stato stazionario di <strong><b>12V 0.8A<\/b><\/strong>Tuttavia, l&#039;hardware per le telecomunicazioni non consuma energia in modo costante. Il consumo energetico \u00e8 altamente ciclico e soggetto a picchi transitori di notevole entit\u00e0.<\/p><p>Questi picchi di domanda si verificano durante specifici stati operativi:<\/p><ul><li><b><\/b><strong><b>Sequenze di avvio a freddo: <\/b><\/strong>Quando il gateway viene acceso, la CPU, la memoria e gli ASIC di routing si inizializzano simultaneamente.<\/li><li><b><\/b><strong><b>Inizializzazione radio: <\/b><\/strong>L&#039;attivazione di pi\u00f9 catene radio a 5 GHz e 6 GHz richiede un&#039;immediata e intensa scarica di corrente.<\/li><li><b><\/b><strong><b>Aggiornamenti firmware via etere (OTA):<\/b><\/strong>La scrittura sulla memoria flash interna e il contemporaneo download di dati costringono la CPU al massimo utilizzo.<\/li><li><b><\/b><strong><b>Picchi di traffico: <\/b><\/strong>Elaborazione dati continua e ad alta velocit\u00e0 su pi\u00f9 porte Gigabit Ethernet.<\/li><\/ul><p>Durante questi eventi, la domanda attuale pu\u00f2 aumentare all&#039;istante <strong><b>12V 2.5A <\/b><\/strong>o superiore. Ci\u00f2 costringe il gateway a bloccarsi, riavviarsi o interrompere le connessioni di rete in modo imprevedibile.<\/li><li><b><\/b><strong><b>Impossibile avviare<\/b><\/strong>\u2013 La corrente di spunto iniziale necessaria per alimentare i componenti interni supera la potenza massima erogabile dall&#039;UPS. Il gateway rimane quindi offline e non completa mai la sequenza di avvio.<\/li><li><b><\/b><strong><b>Nessun backup durante le interruzioni<\/b><\/strong>\u2013 In caso di interruzione dell&#039;alimentazione di rete, l&#039;UPS fatica a passare alla batteria sotto carico.
